Arm Your Mind

Isaiah 26:

[1] In that day shall this song be sung in the land of Judah; We have a strong city; salvation will God appoint for walls and bulwarks.
[2] Open the gates, that the righteous nation which keep the truth may enter in.
[3] You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You : because he trusts in You .[4] Trust in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength:
[5] For he brings down them that dwell on high; the lofty city, he lays it low; he lays it low, even to the ground; he brings it even to the dust.
[6] The foot shall tread it down, even the feet of the poor, and the steps of the needy.
[7] The way of the just is uprightness: you , most upright, do weigh the path of the just.
[8] Yea, in the way of your judgments, O LORD, have we waited for You ; the desire of our soul is to your name, and to the remembrance of You .
[9] With my soul have I desired you in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek you early: for when your judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.

The Lord; He is God.

This is not a time to be moved to action by fear. This is not a time to wonder off into the vanity of our own lusts. This a time to draw near unto our Great God. He is in control, just as He was in the days of Noah when he brought the flood upon a wicked world, but saved 8 people.

I challenge to press into God. Strengthen your relationship with Him through careful reading and study of the scriptures, prayer, and fellowship with other believers. Our minds need to be always bent towards God.

If you think times are bad now, rest assured that they will get worse. Preachers all over the nation are warning their listeners to take heed to that fact. Again, not to illicit fear in the hearers, but rather faith. NOW is the time to strengthen our spirit, and strongly connect our spirit to the Spirit of God.
Now is the time to get the Word of God deep into our spirit. Our mind needs to be made up NOW about who God is, and what He is doing.

God is calling, or driving, His people back to their knees in prayer, and back to fellowship with one another. Consider these things in your mind. Settle your spirit, and be strengthened in your faith. Make God the anchor to your soul.

Why am I saying all of this?...Well, as you can see from the declining economic markets, and events on Wall Street, the confidence of America and foreign nations has been shaken. We are not here by accident. We, as a nation have turned our back on God. We have made decisions without consulting God. God made decisions without consulting us. His Word will stand. His Word will come to pass. We are going where He said we would go.

We MUST be ROOTED and GROUNDED in the WORD.
