Most weddings I have been to are pretty standard. The groom stands in front. The bride is escorted to him. Vows are said. Lips are locked. Pronouncement of lifelong committment is made. You know....pretty standard stuff.
I do want to let you know about one wedding I went to that was a little out of the norm. It was a musical wedding. The groom sang a song in the "pre-show", the bride and groom sang to each other as the bride "danced" up to the alter. Her father even got in on the act. He came running up to the alter. He stopped half way there, and turned around to notice the bride was not running with him. He called for her, and told her to hurry up before the groom changes his mind. It was funny!!!! The ring bearer rapped. The flower girl sang. The wedding party even tooted a diddy. It was pretty interesting. It was not normal for sure.
I should have known it would be different when I received the invitation with a dancing couple on the front. And off to the side was an old man on his knees praying. The little caption next to him said, "Thank God!" The big caption over the bride and groom read, "They danced and sang as they married, and were given in marriage......Now let's party!"
I don't know where they got those invitations, but I do know of a top notch wedding invitation company, called 1st Class Wedding Invitations. You can visit them online and see the variety of invitations available. They have a new zoom feature that allows you to quality of the invitation in great detail. All you have to do is hover your mouse over the invitation and check it out up close and personal. Their zoom feature is unique to them, as no other online company featuring Wedding Invitations has a feature like the zoom feature the company 1st Class Wedding Invitations has.
I would like to share with you my favorite invitation. Check it out. I believe you will like it too. And while you are there, check out the zoom feature. And take a stroll throught the gallery on invites. You want to be ready for the day when you "race" down that ilse. So zoom on in! They'll make it special for you.
